Hired anyone in the last few weeks or planning to hire soon?
You need to know about this.
From 1 January 2027, the period that an employee can claim they were unfairly dismissed drops from 2 years after being hired to just 6 months.
So, even though the rules don’t change until January, it affects every person you employ from now.
The compensation cap is being removed in January too, making compensation potentially unlimited if a tribunal awards a claim.
There’s a lot to know, so I’m running a free live webinar to help.
We’ll cover:
• What can stay/must change in your hiring process
• How onboarding and probation need to work differently
• What fair dismissal looks like in the first six months
• Quick practical steps you can take this week to stay on top the changes
It’s totally free but spaces are limited.
